{it's a boy!} gender reveal shoot

it was a last minute thing... they had the ultrasound sealed at home... do they open it?  

a couple of facebook messages later i picked up the envelope and looked inside...

then i made a stop to get balloons and filled the box... 

the family met me and with the camera ready opened the box...

this was SO MUCH fun!

{katie & alex} wedding day.

when i met alex he kept it simple when asked about katie,

 " ... i am very lucky.  let's just say that."

lucky indeed and on a sunny summer day these two made the promise of all their earthly days... here's a peek... 

i think i like "dad's first look"  more than grooms... 

it's hard to tell, but katie's dress was her mom's... they just got rid of the 80's in it... it was beautiful

who's next?   time will tell...

such a fun shoot!   i knew jackie from camp and it was so fun meeting the rest of her family...

one thing is for sure, these parents/grandparents are sure blessed to be surrounded by such beautiful little girls!

{alex & katie} engagement.

it was just going to be dinner at a friend of her sister's house... except for the fact that katie's crush alex happened to be that friend's brother... before long he took her on their first date... and then on a snowy january night he asked her to be his forever... 

when asked what they like to do together... their answer was simple:

"we just like to be together."  

its not hard to see... she still is crushing on him pretty hard.
