where did the weekend go?

so i broke my own resolution already... i haven't blog... but i am blogging on sunday to make up for it a bit... today was wonderful.  church.  a healthy mexican lunch (i am the best at healthy mexican meals - because i love mexican and refuse to give it up in our new healthy living goals!) ... followed by resting with my love.   we cleaned the house a bit and are now both trying to get some work done before the week starts... both of us wondering where our weekend went...

handsome little colt! he was a blast to shoot! his mom and i have been friends for years and i was so pumped to do his nine month shoot AND have lunch with those two... one things for sure - he's gonna be a heartbreaker!
dont worry... his momma was close by to catch him!

eliza june.

you might remember eliza as a bump i must say i was super excited to photograph her for the second time (i had been following her ma's blog since she was 3 weeks old in the womb and shel and i have been friends for years!) because eliza lives in georgia i never really knew when i would get the chance...luckily shel decided to take a trip to the midwest and we made lunch plans and of course my camera came with me! here is the result of sitting her in some grass outside the restraunt...
she gets those lashes from her daddy.

eliza june... it was so fun meeting you... i hope that i get a chance to capture you again soon - next time bring daddy - i promise to get him smile!... luckily your ma takes pictures like its her job - so i am sure i will stay updated... shel i am so proud to call you friend, your family is beautiful and i look forward to watching it grow!

if you had never met her... you might not know that you are looking at a miracle... really... this little girl was just over a pound when she made her debute in this world... people prayed... she fought... people prayed more... and finally she came home... and lives here living proof that miracles still happen...
